Third Strike online FTW. MvC is a good game, but screw marvel. Id rather see Vs SNK or Vs Tatsunoko on the xbox rather than give marvel my money.
3S makes sense too since IV is coming out soon and alot of players missed out on part 3.
FYI: the hori fighting stick EX2 is not mappable to default street fighter controls, with anniversary collection 3S. I'd pay just for that feature (mappable triggers). That new HRAP for 360 looks like it should work for SFAC, so I guess...
Saturn pad was better than the genny's six-button, and dreamcast arcade stick should replace the advantage. I agree with the 360 at top, fix the D-pad and its a keeper.
The way I understand it, most games for either console run at their native resolution which is usually around the 720p ballpark, and the console then upscales the image to 1080p, when a game box says 1080p (ex: halo 3: HDTV 720p/1080i/1080p) it means the console will output in these resolutions, regardless of the native resolution.
As far as games that run natively at 1080p, I believe Virtua Fighter 5 and Virtua Tennis 3 are the only games I'm aware of, and I may be mistaken abou...
DrWan, I bought metal gear for NES at retail, so don't assume my age because my opinion differs from yours.
That said, I like metal gear plenty; personally i'd pick metal gear over GOW any day. I just don't think it will have the attach rate gears has on the 360 in the states.
And certainly wouldn't spend the dough on a ps3 just for MGS.
Just my opinion I guess, but what do I know? I've only been gaming for 20 years.
why is that?
And video games have nothing to do with it.
Quit posting this trash; you're only feeding the fire.
Personally I could care less about gears, but truth be told it will sell way better than MGS, at least in the states
MGS may be a fanboys wet dream, but do you really think it will penetrate that casual market? Like gears already has?
I doubt it.
true that
Rainbow six? are you serious? buggy piece of trash wont even come close.
Thats because american players tend to credit feed their way though the game, and then state that its impossible because they continued 20 times on a level they weren't ready to play. I can assure you the joy of these games is found when you stop continuing, and try to get a little further each time you play. You will get much better and have much more fun this way, whereas credit feeding actually makes you worse.
Try it with metal slug sometime, you will see that i'm right.
Cave is major. I've considered importing a jap ps2 just so I can play the Cave ports on a console. Maybe not in the states, but a system seller for sure.
arcade ports are what made the ps2 worth owning, and why the ps3 continues to disappoint me.
the hitbox is much smaller than the sprite itself, so navigating the purple bullets is very doable.
These titles wont be on XBLA, Cave don't work that way. Cave will want full retail price, and thats why you wont see these games in the states.
Suddenly I dont care about Ikaruga any more. Crossing fingers for a US DDP release.
Couldn't they just rebrand this as a perfect dark title and bypass all this legal trouble? perfect dark zero has goldeneye maps doesn't it?
Area 88 was the best SNES game ever. Better than the arcade version, but I would pay for either on XBLA
